A Louisiana Bayou Home Boasts Contemporary and Collected With The Team Behind Thomas Guy Interiors

Located on the Bayou of Louisiana, Thomas Guy Interiors worked with a client who is a young single Anesthesiologist. When asked what he wanted in his space, the client noted that he preferred clean, sterile, and white. The challenge for Lance Thomas and Drew Hoffpauir, the duo behind Thomas Guy Interiors, was to make that just as exciting as the property's surroundings!

They were inspired by an Alys Beach sort of vibe and wanted to design a contemporary collected feel throughout the various spaces including multiple indoor/outdoor areas. Lance (the lead designer) added antiques and southern traditional elements to contrast the stark nature of the home.

The main vision for the space was "White Done Right" to create a cohesive and sophisticated space that still has character and unique details. With a dark walnut stained natural hardwood floor in the kitchen, the playful color and gold fixtures gives a nice modern contrast to the space. Additionally, the living room has a mix of curated, vintage, and textural elements that perfectly play off of the crisp white walls and backdrop.
